From The Seniour Pastor's Desk

Beloved Friends,
Welcome to Bethel Church—a place where broken stories are rewritten by the grace of God. Our church was born out of Recovery Fellowship, where the cries of rejected, abused, and abandoned women rose up as a prayer for healing and hope. Many of the families we serve carry the scars of rejection, the weight of abuse, and the burden of poverty. Wives abandoned by their husbands, children growing up without fathers, young men enslaved by drugs, and young women stripped of dignity by cycles of pain—this is the community God has called us to love.
And yet, out of ashes, God is building something beautiful. At Bethel, we believe that everyone can believe the Gospel, belong to God’s family, and become like Christ. This is not just our vision—it is our heartbeat. We are a family where the rejected are received, the wounded find healing, and the hopeless discover purpose in Christ.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to develop real disciples of Jesus who know the Word, worship God with passion, and do Kingdom work with their hands and hearts. Every life we touch is a testimony that Jesus truly is over everything, that people are our heart, that generosity is our way, and that multiplication is our aim.
We live in a community where pain is real, but the power of the Gospel is greater. Every meal shared, every prayer lifted, every life transformed becomes a glimpse of heaven breaking into our neighborhood.
I write to you today not just as a pastor, but as a witness to miracles. When a woman who was once abandoned stands to worship with tears of joy; when a young man once lost in addiction now leads his peers in prayer; when children who knew only hunger now sing songs of hope—this is the Kingdom of God at work.
But we cannot do this alone. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers and resources are few. I invite you—with tears and a heart full of faith—to partner with us. Whether as a donor who fuels the work, or as a missionary who comes to labor with us, your hands can help us carry this burden and your heart can help us heal this brokenness. Together, we can turn rejection into belonging, despair into hope, and brokenness into beauty.
Come, let us believe, belong, and become—together.

With love and expectation,
Pastor Maurice & Edna
